10 Capitalization Rules in Hindi
- प्रत्येक वाक्य के प्रथम शब्द ( word ) का पहला अक्षर कैपिटल लैटर में लिखा जाता है।
The first letter of the first word of each sentence is written in capital letters.
जैसे: He goes to temple.
Nobody came here. - सभी व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा (Proper Nouns) अर्थात् मनुष्य, शहर, गाँव, पुस्तक आदि के नाम का पहला अक्षर कैपिटल लैटर में लिखा जाता है।
All the proper nouns mean the first letter of the name of man, city, village, book, etc. is written in the capital letter.जैसे:1. Sohan came to the house. ( Person मनुष्य )
2. They went to Goa. ( City शहर )
3. He lives in village Machhariya. (Village गाँव )
4. Here is the Mathematics book. (Book पुस्तक)
5 The Ganga is a holy river. (River नदी)
6. The Himalayas are in the north side. (Mountain पर्वत)
7 . He lives in India. (Country देश) - जब वाक्य में वर्ष के महीनों, सप्ताह के दिनों के नाम आते है तो उन शब्दों का पहला अक्षर कैपिटल लैटर में लिखा जाता है।
When the names of the months of the year, the days of the week are included in the sentence, the first letter of those words is written in capital letters.
जैसे: (a). He will return in January. (Month महीना)
(b). I shall go there next Wednesday. (Day दिन) - Pronoun (सर्वनाम) I (मैं) को कैपिटल लैटर में लिखेंगे।
जैसे: I am your friend.
I am your student.
I am creating new videos. - ईश्वर के नाम , ईश्वर के लिए प्रयुक्त होने वाले सर्वनामों का प्रथम अक्षर का प्रयोग कैपिटल लैटर में होता है।
जैसे: God, You are Great, All-Powerful and Merciful. - Interjection (विस्मय या हैरानी बोधक) 0 का प्रयोग कैपिटल लैटर में होता है।
जैसे: O Death, take me away !
Oh no! this is a blunder! - उपाधियाँ प्रायः Abbreviations यानि shortcut के रूप में लिखी होती हैं, ऐसे शब्दों को अक्सर कैपिटल लैटर में लिखा जाता हैं।
जैसे: B.A., M.A., B. Sc., B. Ed., Ph.D.
8. भाषाओं तथा विषयों के नाम कैपिटल लैटर से शुरू होते हैं।
जैसे: English, Hindi, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Chemistry आदि।
9. जब किसी के कहे हुए वाक्य को ज्यों का त्यों लिखा जाता है, तो उस वाक्य का प्रथम शब्द का प्रथम अक्षर कैपिटल में लिखा जाता है।
जैसे: He said to me, ‘My father is a doctor’.
10. अंग्रेज़ी कविता के हर एक चरण के बाद प्रथम शब्द का पहला अक्षर कैपिटल लैटर में लिखा जाता है।
जैसे: In to the sunshine
Full of the light,
Leaping and flashing
From Morning till night.
